When I mean rule of law, I mean implementation of law. As far as Indian corrupts in US are concerned they have been punished severely haven't they? How many have been punished thus in India?
In Indian context "Rule of law" is not merely implementation of law .......,, Rule of law means Every citizen subject to the law, even the ruler is under the law { unlike any divine power of ruler} ........... 1. I concede that many corrupts have been punished in US, but our parliamentary democracy is very much different from their presidencial form of democracy where in omnishambles condition president can become a dictator, In Indian context we even can't think of this type.
2. Our democracy is still young, we need affirm establishment of constitutional bodies, as i have already said in the video also, we need transparency and accountability in each and every level of government so that we can nip the evil (corruption) in the bud.
3. We need Democratisation of all legal information among the masses about government machinery. Making them aware is important.
4.We can put a cap on corruption by installing ethics, moral values, integrity in the governance process, Only laws alone can't reduce the impact or severity of any crime.
5. Why they have not been punished because we can't find any one person or group in corruption making process, there is an unholy nexus between different high bigwigs.
LAST but not least, we must take individual responsibility as we constitute the society. If we will change the environment and the vicinity where we are living , Believe me whole country will automatically get changed. So, instead of seeing US efficiency of governance and showing worst face of INDIA , Awake , arise, and contribute something for which you are capable of. ....
